Six year old Kya has been in our Woof Pack program for the past couple of months and is now ready to find her forever home. She is a cautious girl and slow introductions are needed. It would seem she hasn’t experienced much outside of her own environment and the world can be a big scary place. Working with her Woof Pack leader, Quentin, she is now experiencing the “unknown” and feeling more comfortable every time she’s out. When meeting new people on her adventures, slow movements and treats work for Kya petting. We think she would enjoy the company of another dog, although she is very energetic and would do best with a high energy dog able to keep up with her. We have been told she lived with cats in the past. Kya weighs approximately 45 lbs. For an appointment to meet her, please submit the adoption application found on our website, www.satchelslastresort.org, and an adoption counselor will be in touch to set up a meKya walking.et and greet with Kya.
