Hippopotamus was one of five kittens born to Star, a stray cat whose life was saved when a good Samaritan brought her to see a veterinarian when she noticed the young mother was not nursing her kittens. Star had life-saving surgery, and she and her kittens immediately received foster care until they were ready for adoption. Steve and Ashley met Hippopotamus and fell in love with his sweet demeanor. Hippopotamus joins their young family, which includes two young children. Congratulations to Hippopotamus!
