Bear is a big boy with a kind, gentle soul who has overcome some rough handling in his past. Rescued 3 years ago by a loving family, he has learned to trust and love. He will take a moment to warm up to you and then you will have a best friend/shadow from there on out. He is very well behaved and quiet in the house and completely house broken. No destructive behaviors at all – never crated. Bear loves his big dog bed, and actually believes he is maybe more of a chihuahua because he will try and sit on your lap and cuddle for hours. He gets along with big and small dogs with proper introduction and has lived with both. Bear has been friendly to everyone coming into his home, including small children. Bear does show his protective side, wanting to make sure his family and home stay safe, when left alone in a fenced yard.
Bear truly does have a heart of gold and deserves a family who can appreciate all he has gone through and continue to show this boy love.
