Delhi has found her forever home with Roy! Delhi came to Satchel’s this past summer when her family’s living situation changed and Delhi, being paralyzed in her back end, found herself looking for a special place to take care of her needs. Of course, Satchel’s couldn’t say no to taking this precious girl into our family.
We immediately had Delhi fitted for a wheelchair – thank you John Cox and RUCK9 – and Delhi’s live expanded. Delhi spent her days in the office at Satchel’s, going on many walks, car rides and off-site events, and went home with our Director of Operations, Michal Anne, every night.
This girl was living a full life, but there was more to the dream. A person to call her own 24 hours a day. Along came Roy to fill that bill. Delhi and Roy are now a happy family and you may see them exploring the streets of downtown Venice.
