Two year old Hunter is one of the sweetest and loving canine friends we have here at Satchel’s. He is a little on the shy side, needing a bit of encouragement when trying new things and meeting new people but he is always friendly whether it is people or animals he is meeting. He walks well on leash but looks to you for guidance and comfort when outside of his environment. When sitting with him, he likes to lean against you and just be in the present, looking around, while enjoying all the affection you can give. Hunter is playful, loves toys and most of all, loves food. Training is not something Hunter appears to be familiar with but he is very treat motivated and looking to please his human companion so he will likely learn quickly once he feels safe. His sweet nature has made him an immediate volunteer favorite. We believe Hunter would do well with another dog in the home to teach him how to enjoy life as a dog but would also love to be your only one. With a little patience and guidance, Hunter would make a wonderful addition to any family ooking for a loving companion.
