several years ago as an overly exuberant young dog whose size and strength made him challenging to walk and control on leash. With his Woof Pack leader, Jill, Harley began working on his leash walking skills, learning basic commands and going for long off-site walks to burn off his excess energy. But Harley also needed a lot of mental stimulation and seemed to thrive when having a job to do which led to agility lessons and weekly doggie playgroups at K9 Korral. Harley’s size and smarts combined made finding the perfect adopter a bit challenging but we knew we could offer Harley as much time as he needed. That day came last month when new staff member, Brandon, met Harley and we knew Harley had found his perfect match. Harley now enjoys his long walks, training sessions and cuddle time with his very own Dad.
FUN FACT – Harley is one of the smartest dogs we’ve ever met!
