This week, Cooper attended his first off-site event with his Woof Pack leader Kathy. Cooper has been at Satchel’s for several years. Fearful of anything and anyone outside of his immediate surroundings has made it difficult to introduce Cooper to new people including possible adopters. Cooper has been spending the past several months with his Woof Pack leader going on adventures away from Satchel’s property and slowly meeting new people. Cooper did great at the event, taking in his surroundings and watching all the people go by. Although fearful of people, he loves other dogs.
Cooper is 9 years old and has grown up at Satchel’s. His ideal home is with a canine companion in an adult-only home with people willing to continue to help him overcome his fears.
