CK was rescued from Sarasota County Animal Services last month. This young girl was so sweet but had a prey drive for chickens which is how she found herself at the county shelter. All our staff and volunteers immediately fell in love with CK and once we put her on social media, the applications poured in. Madeline was the first to meet CK and loved her but she does have 2 cats and because of CK’s known prey drive with chickens, we weren’t sure how she would do living with cats. A visit into our free-roaming cat room showed CK to be fine with the cats and she left the shelter a very happy girl having officially joined Madeline’s family. Congratulations to you all!
