We received a call from a county shelter in late August that 2 chihuahua mixes were in need of rescue. Both requiring immediate medical care. Chip had an eye injury and Skip a fractured pelvis. Off to Beach Veterinary Clinic they went to have their medical needs attended to. These 2 sweeties had not arrived at the county shelter together but they sure attached themselves to one another when we took them in. They quickly went into a foster home to recover, and became more bonded. So much so, we just couldn’t separate them and when they were medically cleared, the search for a forever home together began. It didn’t take too long before Bruce met these cuties and he immediately knew they were meant to be his companions. Thank you Bruce and congratulations to you all!
