Annabelle and Miezla came to Satchel’s in January 2021 when their caregiver moved from the country and needed a safe place for them to go. They had been well cared for with their own indoor space but had not been socialized into the family. Although they are still quite shy, they do on occasion seek a little attention from the staff and volunteers who have worked with them most.
