We received the pathology report today and Adele does NOT have cancer of the spleen! Needless to say we are so thrilled with this news!!! We are trying to arrange surgery to have the spleen removed before it starts bleeding (which could happen anytime and be fatal) on Thursday, December 24th. Adele would need to have 24 hour care at the Emergency Clinic over the Holiday weekend. Now, this is still risky surgery due to her heartworm disease. She is up, eating, drinking and off the IV fluids. Adele is ready……her puppies are now two weeks old, crawling and growing rather rapidly.
