It’s that time again for Satchel’s Giving Day when we take the opportunity to celebrate “Satchel’s” birthday. “Satchel” was the Irish Setter who inspired the adoption center and sanctuary we all know and love today and in his honor we celebrate the month of August leading up to the big day.
From now through September 3rd, your $50 donation will decorate the kennels and catroom walls with bows spreading the joy throughout the shelter. The day of the celebrations, the cats will get cat boxes and bags, cat houses with catnip toys and special treats; the dogs will get an agility day or a spa day, toys and a birthday pup tart.
