This week is Adopt a Less-Adoptable Pet week. Take a peek at this article https://www.geniusvets.com/…/dogs/blog/less-adoptable-pets. At Satchel’s we believe all dogs and cats deserve a home to fit their needs and we give them time to find their perfect home. Some, such as Scarlett, take much longer than others.
Scarlett, a distemper survivor left with life long neurological issues. joined the Satchel’s family a little over a year ago, barely able to hold herself up on her 4 legs. Today, she runs around our play yards enjoying life to the fullest. She is going on car rides now and learning acceptable car behavior. She recently went to an off-site adoption event at DOGPerfect and did extremely well. Scarlett is a medical special needs girl and requires a patient, loving home with a family who understands her needs. She gets along great with other dogs and would likely enjoy the company of a canine companion. Visit her profile on our website, www.satchelslastresort.org.
For an appointment to meet our girl, Scarlett, please submit the adoption application (no commitment) found on our website, www.satchelslastresort.org, and an adoption counselor will be in touch.
